The Taytay Doctors Multispecialty Hospital (TDMH) was hailed as the Best Level 1 General Hospital in the whole Calabarzon after receiving the “Gold Award” from the Department of Health – Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) IVA during the Regional Integrated Awarding Ceremony held last December 2025 in Tagaytay City.
In a statement, the TDMH said it won the award over other hospitals in Region IVA for the top honor that acknowledges compliance with licensing standards, dedication to improving clinical services, adaptability to socio-economic challenges in the healthcare industry, and commitment to fostering technological advancement.
“This award is a testament to our team’s unwavering dedication to providing high-quality care to Taytayenos and residents of nearby areas,” said TDMH Hospital Administrator Karla Maria La Rosa.
“As we celebrate 15 years of service, this recognition strengthens our commitment to our mission: ‘where caring comes first’. Every patient we serve reminds us why we strive for excellence every day,” she added.
Nevertheless, the hospital official said the recognition will only serve as fuel for them to continue with their mission.
“Rest assured that TDMH will not rest on its laurels and will continue to strive for excellence, innovation, and compassionate care for our community,” La Rosa said.
La Rosa received the recognition together with CQI Officer McReyan Anonuevo, MM, RN; Asst. CQI Officer Bernard Bernabe, RN; Chief Nurse Marione Oca, MAN, RN; and Admin Officer Maria Cecilia Yutan.
In a related development, the Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal approved Resolution No. 107 Series of 2026, commending and congratulating TDMH for the recognition.
“This prestigious recognition reflects the hospital’s compliance with national standards, excellence in service delivery, effective leadership, and the dedication of its doctors, nurses, medical professionals and support staff,” the Resolution stated.
The Resolution was authored by Councilor Rulf Marius Valera, and was approved last January 12, 2026.
